Peyton's Comments

I know of at least one major flub and I blame my two kittens for playing tag around my feet. I appreciate any feedback/advice.

Andy Platt 2010-10-20 11:14:48 I loved the runs too! Very nicely done.
LisztAddict 2010-10-20 09:58:18 I am glad to hear you play this waltz. Excellent execution of those little runs!!!
timmyab 2010-10-20 08:22:20 Very individual and interesting approach to this charming piece.I particularly like your interpretation of the section that starts at bar 65.
As you asked for feedback I thought I'd just mention that there seems to be a misread at bar 86 and again at 102 where I think you play A natural instead of A flat.Of course it may be your edition, but I've not heard it before.
heidiv 2010-10-19 21:03:04 Flub? There are no flubs in Chopin. You get up and bow with confidence like you intended it to sound just like that! :) I enjoyed it Peyton.
ab-ster 2010-10-19 20:53:43 Peyton, this is very beautiful. The phrasing that you use is very heartfelt. Very nice job on this piece.
Elene 2010-10-19 04:17:17 Um, isn't this the A flat waltz?
gerg 2010-10-18 20:17:16 Peyton! Nice to see you, my friend!

The only feedback I have at the moment: did you transpose this up (or down) to E-flat? ;)

CMohr 2010-10-18 13:13:17 Wonderful performance! I really enjoy your phrasing and interpretation.
Inlanding 2010-10-18 11:08:23 Absolutely love the dynamics and phrasing you bring to this piece. You tell a wonderful story with the music, Peyton. Thank you so very much!
Strings&Wood 2010-10-18 10:11:19 A rise in the eyebrow, a slight wag of the head, and off across the floor we go. Excellent, Peyton!
Mistaya 2010-10-17 22:56:51 A beautiful interpretation of a lovely waltz - nice rubato - I enjoyed listening very much!
AnotherSchmoe 2010-10-17 13:22:15 Really great performance Peyton. I think I already heard you play this on YouTube but I greatly enjoyed listening again. Very clean and precise, sounds spectacular! Thanks for sharing.
