AnotherSchmoe - Beethoven Für Elise: Message Board

AnotherSchmoe's Comments

Most people are pretty sick of hearing this one (even I am!) but it's one of the only Beethoven pieces I know right now. I have a rough time with the middle and end sections but I think it turned out okay.

JustDani 2011-01-11 09:24:41 Really enjoyed this. Nice work. As cliche as it is its one of my favorites.
wouter79 2010-12-17 08:12:25 Nothing wrong with this! As said, good you have that middle section.

About that middle section, I idon't play this piece but it sounds like you are missing the beat? Or is this intended?

Is this a DP?
Strings & Wood 2010-12-16 20:57:36 Very nicely paced and a very good job on the middle section! It was a pleasure to listen to you play.
Andy Platt 2010-12-16 19:41:42 Thank you AnotherSchmoe! I can never tire of Für Elise - so long as I know it's the full version. And I thought you handled the middle section well. It's only that section that's stopped me learning this ;)

And of course, who can resist a piece that has probably come down in history dedicated to the wrong woman since most scholars believe it was for Therese Malfatti von Rohrenbach zu Dezza!
