York Bowen (1884-1961) was a English composer whose style of writing is described by Wikipedia as "Romantic, and his works are often characterized by their individuality and magnificently rich and profound harmonic language".
He wrote Reverie d'Amour in 1913. It's a very romantic and lovely piece. Pianist Stephen Hough describes it as "a piece whose blushingly lush lyricism hovers delightfully close to decadence".
I just love it. Hope you will, too.
