dannylux - Mikhail Glinka Nocturne in E flat: Message Board

dannylux's Comments

Mikhail Glinka (1804-1857) wrote this beautiful Nocturne in 1828. It's in the usual ABA form, 1st theme in E flat, 2nd in c minor, and then back to E flat. When the lovely E flat major main theme returns, it's customary to vary it by adding ornaments, which I do.
