Inlanding 2010-08-21 22:34:43 Top-shelf playing, Carey. Fugues are difficult enough, and this one is anything but standard.
gerg 2010-08-21 00:46:35 You are a gifted pianist, Carey. This is so dark and foreboding, and reminds me of Brahms. I agree with Sorcerer about the unusual nature of this fugue. I did hear a second voice join well into the piece. Franck is a composer I would like to know better.
Sorcerer88 2010-08-20 21:51:59 At first i thought "what, that's a fugue?" and then i waited for the second voice to join the first. It's an unusual fugue, but still captivating and it seems to show its relation to the prelude very well with the many long chords. Great playing as well!
